.Shri Chandraprabhu Viklang Kalyan Samiti, Alwar

Shri Chandra Prabhu Viklang Kalyan Samiti, Alwar has many feathers of achivements in its short journey of 20 years in the HELP TO THE HANDICAPPED programme.

With its motto "For the Benefit of Disabled, For the Service of Disabled", the Samiti and its members are totaly devoted to do everything for the benefits of the Differently Abled Persons (Divyangs).

In 1997. the year of its organization, Samiti organised 14 Camps at Block levels in Alwar District in which 5720 disabled persons were registered. Samiti extended following help:
- 43 Artificial limbs; 241 Tricycles; 447 Calipers
- 447 Crutches; 07 Brail Sticks; 51 Self employment
- 1688 Scholarship; 561 Pension; 851 Self Financial Help
- 409 Hearing Aids; 578 Bus Pass; 219 Rail Pass

On 30-31 Dec 1997 & 1 Jan 1998 organised a camp at Tijara (Alwar)
- 10 Polio Correction operations; 198 Calipers; 23 Artificial Limbs were given through Bhagvan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Bharatpur

On 7.5.2000 650 Crutches; 50 Tricycles; 60 Hearing Aids distributed in Jain Bhawan, Scheme No. 10, Alwar

25-28 Sept., 2001 organized a camp at Tijara (Alwar) in which 91 polio correction operations were done by the team of SMS Medical College, Jaipur for first time in Rajasthan.

6-12 Jan, 2002 organised a camp at Alwar in which 103 Polio Correction operations were done by Narayan Sewa Sansthan, Udaipur. Samiti also distributed 103 Calipers, 100 Blankets and 550 Woolen Sweaters.

On 12.01.2002 with Shri B.R. Gwala, IPS, SP Alwar camp in Alam Chand Dhramshala. Sh. A.K. Mathur, Asstt. Director Social Welfare Dept. & Shri Mahesh Chand Jain, President of Samiti persent.

1-6 March, 2002 organised a camp at Alwar in which 105 Polio Correction operations were done and distributed 151 Calipers through Narayan Sewa Sansthan in Collaboration with Agarwal Maha Sabha, Alwar and Rotary Club of Alwar.
18-20 May, 2002 organised a camp at Ramgarh (Alwar) in which 19 Polio Correction operations were done out of 105 patients by the team of SMS Hospital, Jaipur.
2-4 Oct, 2004 organised a camp at Alwar and also distributed 03 Artificial limbs Which were given through Bhagvan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Bharatpur, 106 Calipers, 13 Crutches and 01 special shoes pair in Jain Bhavan, Alwar.

7 Nov, 2004 organised an Ayurvedic Medical Check-up camp at Alwar in which 415 patients were checked for various diseases and provided Medicines free of cost.
March, 2005 organised a camp at Alwar in which 43 Polio Correction operations were done.
14-16 May 2005, organised a camp at Alwar and distributed 03 Artificial limbs, 48 Calipers with the help of Delhi Bharat Vikas Foundation.
18 Dec, 2005 organised Parichaya Sammelan of Disabled males and females at Alwar. It was a unique effort for the 1st time in Inda intended to introduce and motivate handicapped to start a family life.
9-11 March, 17-19 March and 24-26 March 2007 organised camps at Alwar in which 39 Polio Correction operations were done in Kalyan Hospital, Alwar.

10 April, 2007 organised a camp at Alwar and distributed 250 Tricycles, 50 Wheel Chairs to physically handicapped in Govt. New Sr. Sec. School, Alwar.

17-19 Nov 2007, organised a camp at Alwar in which 11 Polio Correction operations were done.
3-5 Feb 2008, organized a camp at Alwar in which 10 Polio Correction operations were down.
18-20 March, 2008, organised a camp at Alwar in which 12 Polio Correction operations were done in Kalyan Hospital, Alwar.

18 Aug 2008 Foundation stone laying Ceremony of Samiti's Dream project : DISTRICT DISABLITY REHABILITATION CENTRE in Ambedkar Nagar, Alwar on a 1000 sq. mt. piece of land. Now the building has been constructed under Jan Sahbhagita Yojna of Govt. of Raj. and Nagar Parishad, Alwar.

Publication of a Souvenir "कल्याणिका" in which useful material, Govt. Schemes, Govt. Orders, Names and Addresses of Govt. and NGO's working for the Disabled Persons were published. The Joumery of HELP TO HANDICAPPED is Continous and Samiti is advancing, moving with steady on it "चरैवेति, चरैवेति, चरैवेति, ................." Move on, Move on and Move on.
